I hear you say, “What the heck does that mean?”  Sit down and I will explain.

When you talk to people who are in the business world, you may come across this phrase.  On Travel is a concise way of saying, “I am going to be traveling on business and will not be at my office for a period of time.”  It is a way of letting others know this without having to say it outright.

I will be attending several conventions and gatherings over the next months, some widely known, some very private.  This is one of the things I love to do.  It allows me to meet people, learn things and teach things.

But why am I announcing it?  Because it is an opportunity to show how a Pro Dom prepares for such things.  I’ve already talked about traveling kinky, but this is a little different.

I am going to be promoting a line of toys for Industrial DisEase- chain flogs, rope impact toys and interchangeable head handles for them.  I love them or else I would not promote them.  They are just getting their website together, so forgive them a little.  I am looking forward to seeing the videos they took of me demonstrating their implements on a willing subject’s back.  And front.

What does this mean?  I will be packing to impress.  The clothing has to be impeccable.  I am having my hair done so that it will be gorgeous no matter if I just woke up or have been playing for hours.  I am going to the gym to strengthen my legs to wear those 6 inch heels.  I am learning the different ways the flogs and other toys from them can be used for different sensations. I am preparing.

I see the blank stare there.  Yes, Pro Doms need to prepare and practice for sessions, especially if they are going to be in public to demonstrate sellable goods.  Yes, it is fun, but it is also a business.

That is one thing that many subs who come to me do not understand.  I enjoy what I do, or else I would not do it.  I also am given tribute for my time and experience.  You would not go to a dentist or investment banker without expecting to pay for their time and effort, would you?  Do not expect a Pro Dom to give you any thing for free since they have worked on their skill just like any other professional.
