Apparently, kinksters are delicate and fragile flowers of spun glass, easily cracked and shattered at the mere sound of a word. At least, that’s what it seems like. Over the past two months, I have discussed why we have a human need for fear, and how the human need for fear affects us today. This month, I complete the series with some suggestions on how to solve the problem. Stop Being Afraid Yes, it’s actually that simple. No, it’s not that easy. The

Last month, I talked about the human need for fear, where it comes from and why we still have it. This month, I’ll talk a little bit about the result. Next month, I’ll discuss the answers. The internet is an odd thing. It is both ephemera and very permanent. The news or meme of the day will flit by and be lost in the chaos to be replaced with something just as vapid. Scandal and anything that has been posted will hang on, even if you think you have taken profiles,

The question of “being out” comes up quite frequently–be it in regards to being kinky, poly, queer, or a Twighlight fan. People, however, seem to have a strange sense of what it means to be “out”. There’s a lot of discussion about what it means to be “out” as a kinkster–much of it contradictory. There’s
